Finnair’s domestic and European scheduled flights cancelled until noon Thursday

Finnair will have to cancel all departing and arrival domestic and European
scheduled flights until Thursday 12 p.m. due to the ash cloud spreading from
the volcanic eruption in Iceland. It’s probable that flights will need to be
cancelled also in the afternoon. Finnair’s long-haul flights will be operated
on Thursday as far as possible.

Due to the restrictions caused by the ash cloud, the flight to New York that
was due to depart this evening, had to be cancelled.

Passengers whose flights are cancelled may transfer their journey to a later
date by contacting Finnair or the travel agency that sold their ticket.
Passengers can also apply for a refund for Finnair flight tickets that remain
unused due to cancellations. Refund can be applied also for Finnair flights on
April 25th at the latest that are not cancelled. If their flight is cancelled,
passengers are advised not to come to the airport.

Finnair is actively monitoring the situation and cooperates continually with
the authorities. We will have more information on the Thursday afternoon
flights after 9 a.m.

Information is being updated continually at the address www.finnair.com/info.
