Trading of China Eastern Airlines Corporation is Suspended

HONG KONG, June 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited (the “Company”; NYSE: CEA; SEHK ” 0670″; SSE “600115″), announces that, following a request made by the Company to the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, trading in its H shares has been suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. on June 8, 2009 , pending the release of an announcement, the nature of which is price-sensitive.

Trading in the Company’s A Shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange has been suspended since June 8, 2009.

Trading in the Company’s ADSs on the New York Stock Exchange has also been suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. New York time on June 8, 2009.
