AFP reported trough Yahoo news that Explosives experts are searching an Emirates plane at Gatwick Airport near London, officials said Sunday, after a passenger found a note just before landing saying there was a suspicious device onboard.

Flight EK 011 from Dubai to Gatwick landed safely after a “a note implying a security threat” was found onboard 10 minutes before it touched down, an Emirates spokesman said.

The airline added that the plane was now being inspected and passengers interviewed.

The incident temporarily closed the airport, one of the country’s biggest, but it has since been reopened, Sussex Police said. They added that there was no major disruption to flights.
