A storm shut down the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris last night, cancelling flights and throwing this morning’s schedule into question.

Monday evening’s Helsinki-Paris flight was cancelled.

Finnair’s Tuesday morning flight from Paris to Helsinki has been cancelled, and the 7:35 morning flight departing Helsinki for Paris will be delayed. Charles de Gaulle is not set to open until 11 am Finnish time.

The storm is expected to move into southern England. Ferry traffic between the two countries has already been cancelled. Wind gusts are expected to reach up to 100 metres per second.
