Finnair pilots’ industrial action

Finnair pilots representative of the Finnish Transport Pilot Association SLL rejected today
State mediator’s settlement proposal. Pilots reported
However, withdrawing its five-day strike threat. Pilot January
ylityökielto started will continue. Finnair’s flights will fly, therefore, essentially
normally.

“Employers’ side could have a friendly motion to accept, even if it
would become the company dearly. We are naturally pleased that the
traffic will not disturb, “Finnair’s personnel director Anssi Komulainen
says.

Negotiations will continue the national conciliator Juhani Saloniuksen chair.

Anyway strike threat has been lifted, however negotiations continue. Finnair flights operate normally in spite of Finnair pilots’ industrial action. Information on irregularities caused by the situation is given on these pages.
