Servisair Cargo secures Jet Airways Contract at London Heathrow

Servisair Cargo is very pleased to announce that they have secured the cargo handling contract for Jet Airways at Heathrow including the provision of their trucking services throughout the UK and Ireland, effective 1st December 2008.

The Mumbai based airline flies to 64 locations around the world, covering the length and breadth of India and key international gateways.    At London Heathrow it has 3 scheduled flights per day, operated by B777 aircraft, directly serving the Indian cities of Mumbai and New Delhi.

Speaking of the new multi year contract, Mohammed Akhlaq, VP Business Development, Servisair Cargo comments “We are pleased to welcome Jet Airways to our facility at Building 521 in Heathrow, which was purpose built in 2006 and remains one of the most advanced cargo handling warehouses at the airport.  In addition, the strength of our UK and Irish network ensures we can compliment Jet Airways product by offering them an extensive trucking service enabling their customers to gain easy access to a wide geographical market.”

Mr Jay Shelat, V.P Cargo Jet Airways adds “London Heathrow is a key market for our business so it is important that we have a reliable service to best serve our customers.  We aim to build a strong relationship with Servisair Cargo at London Heathrow.”.
