in Flight Sim

There’s not too many flight simmers in the world who have not heard of or used the MegaScenery brand of photoscenery which has been available for Microsoft Flight Simulator since Flight Simulator 98.

MegaScenery has always been at the forefront of scenery realism and has always brought flight simmers the most realistic scenery possible for the Flight Simulator version at the time.

Microsoft Flight Simulator has evolved, scenery technology has evolved, scenery realism has evolved and so too has MegaScenery along with the evolution of the realism of scenery being delivered.

Now, MegaScenery, through MegaSceneryEarth has reached that ultimate pinnacle that today’s internet technology has made possible and that pinnacle is pick and choose, instant download of your photo-real scenery areas of choice for flying within minutes with Microsoft Flight Simulator X and beyond.

The Entire World?
Not quite just yet. Creating photoscenery for the entire globe is a massive and mammoth project – probably as big as, if not bigger than, the Human Genome Project. We’re starting with the USA and will be bringing on new scenery on an almost weekly basis as area availability and resources will allow.

We have created amazingly sophisticated computer programs and systems designed to create new Flight Simulator Photo-Scenery at a very rapid rate.

We’ve launched MegaSceneryEarth.com with around 100 areas of the USA ranging from 1200 to 2800 square miles – more than plenty for you to enjoy at the outset and we will, as we said, complete and bring on new areas as fast as our resources will allow – and that will be pretty fast.

Taken from the Megasceneryearth.com but it looks very very promising for us simmers. Can’t wait to get my copies..
