Europe’s biggest airline, Air France-KLM‘s pilots will start at midnight on a four-day long strike. Pilots oppose the bill, which would increase the pilots’ retirement age of 60 to 65 years and would welcome retirement conditions unchanged.
Strike is going to stop the early stages of an estimated half of Air France-KLM’s European flights and inter-continental flights.The company’s director, Jean-Cyril Spinetta Etta warns that the industrial action causing a hundred million in losses and has not been any benefit to workers.
The French National Assembly, namely the House of Commons has approved the pilots’ retirement age of the increase and this proposal is now the Senate hearing.
